First, I hope everyone had a great and wonderful holiday season. I know I did!

2007 brought a lot of change and a lot of blessings into my life. As most of you that actually follow my blog already know, last year saw my big move to NYC. It was leap of faith on my part, and it was definitely one that I’m glad to have taken.

Well, with this new year, I’ve decided to change gears a bit (hence yet another relocation of the blog). I came to New York for two very specific reasons. The first was to show myself that I could make it on my own – without the safety net of my family in Dallas stepping in when needed. The second was to further my career as a Writer.

Now that I have established myself here, I think it’s high time that I start focusing on my writing career. I think this blog is a great tool and a good start in establishing that, don’t you? So I will continue to chronicle my life and times as I adjust to being a transplanted New Yorker and I will continue to provide you guys with little snippets of writing and projects that I’m working on.

I have a feeling this year is gonna bring a lot to the table, and I can’t wait.
